The International Resilience Institute in Sderot and Bara Amarel have jointly developed an innovative VR-based training program designed for tactical and mental preparedness, aimed at maintaining the operational and psychological fitness of fighters during and after combat.

This training integrates tactical performance with mental resilience, providing practical tools for managing combat situations both tactically and psychologically, with the goal of ensuring that fighters return home healthy in both body and mind.

The simulator will train and coach teams in emergency preparedness and resilience building.

The training center will serve as the operational training arm of the International Resilience Institute, enabling residents, professional teams, and business organizations to practice a wide range of realistic scenarios.

It will also function as a central hub for the development and dissemination of knowledge at both national and international levels.

We offer professional trainings and lectures in Israel and internationally, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of experienced clinical therapists.

Our professionals live and work across Israel and bring extensive expertise in trauma treatment, crisis response, and resilience-building practices.

We understand that resilience is a dynamic and evolving process, and our trainers are here to guide individuals, teams, and organizations toward building a stronger and more adaptive society.

The International Resilience Institute in Sderot (IRI-S) was founded with a clear mission: to harness and share the knowledge and experience accumulated in Sderot over decades of coping with chronic trauma and ongoing security threats.

The institute stands as a testament not only to the strength of a community that has endured significant hardship, but also to its commitment to supporting others by sharing practical tools, insights, and proven methodologies.

IRI-S represents a model of community and municipal resilience, providing support and expertise both across Israel and internationally

Small, micro, and exempt business owners in surrounding municipalities are facing complex challenges during this period: uncertainty, ongoing stress, and sustained emotional and operational burdens.

The Resilience Program was developed based on the understanding that in order to maintain economic stability, we must first strengthen the people behind the businesses.

The program offers a comprehensive set of practical tools, professional guidance, and a shared emotional-business language, aimed at helping businesses not only navigate the crisis, but also build a stronger and more sustainable foundation for the future.

Through workshops, individual and group training sessions, and dedicated spaces for processing and coping, we strengthen personal, business, and occupational resilience—while supporting preparedness for future challenges
