Trainings are most effective when they include interactive, experiential learning that solidifies the knowledge learned into actionable tools. Depending on the training platform (online or in-person) and intensity (time and/or professionalism level), we will use tools such as “role play”, break-out discussions, etc

1. Community resilience training and workshop for senior management and administration

The goal of this workshop is to provide Senior management with practical guidelines and protocols to create a more resilient community or municipality. The modules are based on the preparedness, crisis and recovery timeline and offer a resilient mindset to the infrastructure, protocols and training within the community or the municipality.

It offers a broad view to resiliency with the practical aspect of it. This is a tailor made (based on pre-assessment stage) and in-depth workshop.

2. Community resilience training \ workshop for field professionals

The goal of this workshop is to provide field professionals with the  broad understanding of resiliency and how it practically relates to their specific role. The training includes work on the preparedness, crisis and recovery timeline,  while teaching guidelines and beneficial tools for providing efficient services during and following a crisis while learning how to self-care. 

It is offered to different target audiences, as defined by senior management and is tailor made as well.

Resilience in education

3. Resilience in education

The goal of this training is to help enhance platforms of formal education and informal education as pillars of Resilience in times of crisis and during recovery times. 

The training is performed on a senior management level, staff & parents, and is adjusted accordingly. 

  • It will create a community platform within a school that will turn the school into a pillar of community resilience and serve as a unified platform for teachers, parents, administration and students in time of need and during this condition of ongoing stress.
  • It will Create an infrastructure for community resiliency during the recovery and reconfiguration stage in the future.
  • It will Strengthen the personal and community resilience among staff (teachers and admin) and parents.

CERT training Sderot

4. CERT training for team managers and volunteers

We offer CERT training as part of our community module for Local Crisis Management. 

The CERT training is offered on two levels:

1- Leadership, city officials level (includes the infrastructure and the protocols for activating and monitoring the CERT and the data it provides) 

2- CERT members (volunteers)

3- An additional training module of First Aid & Search and Rescue is also a part of the CERT training, and can be offered upon special request.

The training is designed to prepare the members of any emergency service organization to manage the extraordinary stress associated with responding to crisis and there by reduce the potential for Secondary trauma and PTSD.

Psychological first aid

6. Psychological first aid for mental health professionals

  • Practical and In-depth intervention models and guidelines to crisis management for intervention teams during and immediately following traumatic events. The training will also focus on the community’s aspect during an intervention and self-care and team care among these teams. 
  • Trauma-Focused treatment (ASD), an eclectic, practical approach to focused treatments and “saving the savior” – a practical course to minimizing burnout, Compassion Fatigue, and secondary trauma among professionals.
